Suppose I were a manager who wants to sell GM food in my supermarket . Ask the students to write a formal letter to me to introduce something about GM food, and give me some advice.
情景设计的重要作用就是激发学生学习兴趣,并且让学生知道自己的任务。我清楚的记得上课时当我对学生说:“Today, I’m not Miss Ji, I were a manager in a supermarket,I want to sell some GM Food.”的时候,学生们眼睛一亮,觉得有些意外,有些学生的脸上还露出了笑容, 我觉得我的目的达到了。然后我要求学生给我写一封正式的信介绍一下GM Food,提一些建议。说道这里,学生自然会想要学习如何写一封正式的信,想要了解GM Food。这个简单的情景设计激发了学生的学习兴趣,指令明确,起到了很好的效果。

评析情景设计:
本篇课文是一篇有关世界第一地铁的旅游手册,目的是让学生了解它的发展过程和一些相关信息,从某种程度上讲,世界第一地铁只是个背景,学生还应掌握旅游手册的特征,学会阅读旅游手册的方法。虽然学生们通过学习知道了有关世界第一地铁的一些知识,但它毕竟是陌生的,远离学生的生活环境,我想设计一个他们都熟悉的情景,所以,我让学生们介绍常州的一些景点。为了检查学生对阅读策略的掌握,我决定让他们以组为单位写一个简短的演讲稿,其实相当于tourist brochure.学生们大多选择了恐龙园,淹城动物园,红梅公园,演讲以时间为顺序,提到了一些相关信息和关键人物。虽然我课上没有给出speech的格式,但他们都自觉加上了开头和结尾,比如有一组学生是这样开头的:Ladies and gentlemen, I am glad to have the chance to have a good time with you, Changzhou is a traditional and old city, It has lots of places of interets.It is wise of you to come here to have a travel, today,our destination is the Hongmei Park…通过学生们的演讲,我也学到了一些知识,并且作为旅游团成员对他们的speech做出了评价,每一组学生都希望成为我的导游,最后,我倡导学生保护环境,热爱家乡,热爱祖国,我们大家开开心心的上完了这节课。
